When I joined Amatola Hunters & Conservation Association 5 years ago, it was the fun yet business like atmosphere which convinced me to join.
I have strived to maintain this atmosphere since taking over as Chairman in February 2008 and try to run the Association with maximum member participation.

Through the Association I have atttained my Dedicated Hunters status and  qualified as Rowland Ward and SA Horn Measurer. I am also an avid firearms collector.

Through Amatola Hunters' afilliation with CHASA, a relatively small association such as ours, is given the opportunity to make a difference Nationaly in matters affecting hunting, conservation and firearm ownership.

I proudly support the philisophy of sustainable utilisation. By belonging to Amatola Hunters', I play my part in preserving the hunting and conservation industry for future generations to enjoy.

PATRICK STEPHENSON

Vice Chairman and Training

I achieved my Dedicated Hunters status and am a dedicated Firearm Collecter.
My experience in the firearms training field is extensive. I utilise this knowledge to the benefit of the Amatola Hunters and Conservation Association and it's members.
I am a qualified Firearms Instructor at an "Advanced Level" for shotgun, hand gun, rifle and machine carbines under the new firearms act.
I have been an instructor in the SANDF for the past 23 years as well as a Qualified Range Officer.

I achived an Advanced pass and was awareded Top Student for a Close Quaters Emergency Countermeasures Course presented by Defensive Firearms International.

I am a certified Rowland Ward and SA Horn Measurer.
I was a past Chairman, Secretary and Assistant Training Officer at the Border Combat Club between 1994 to 2005.

COLIN STEPHENSON

Secretary

I hold the portfolio of Secretary in the Association.
I have achieved Dedicated Hunter status through the Association
and am also a Firearms collector.

I am a keen conservationist and have an imense interest in hunting and wing shooting.

I am also a member of the the Rock Cliff Clay Target club.

Juniors Training

I am proud to serve my first year for the portfolio of Juniors, there is so much that the Amatola Hunters and Conservation Association has to offer the younger generation.

The junior members are exposed to a variety of activities on our junior outings ranging from fishing, safe handling of firearms, first aid, correct shot placement, skinning, conservation and hunting ethics, tracking, species identification and more.

A juniors outing / camp is arranged. It is a lot of fun as well as hard work. I urge all members and future members to involve their families, in what we have to offer.

Enroll your children and allow them to become part of the fantastic outdoors.

As Treasurer of the Amatola Hunters and Conservation Association, it is my duty to ensure that all funds for the club are accounted for.

ANDREA REDINGER

Pro & Editor

I am extremely proud of being elected the Pro and Editor for the Amatola Hunters and Conservation Association.

I have a creative flair and enjoy the challenges of stepping into the shoes of our former Editor and making a success thereof.

I am a keen hunter myself and try my best to ensure that my children also experience what nature has to offer, and learn the ethical way of walk and stalk.

I believe in participation and community involvement and am involved in various Committees - striving for upliftment and conservation in our beautiful Eastern Cape.
